The SUNY Polytechnic intercollegiate athletics and recreational sports program encourages active participation from all students, faculty and staff. Our athletic facilities and equipment are first-rate and our entire staff is dedicated towards helping you develop your full potential.
The Student-Athlete Handbook is a beneficial guide for you to follow. It has been developed by Kelly Colbert, our Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator, with input from our student-athletes, coaches and administrative staff. This handbook should establish helpful parameters for your participation as a Wildcat student-athlete.
In order to educate the SUNY Poly community on Article 129-B “Enough is Enough” legislation and in support of SUNY Poly’s commitment to combat sexual assault and sex discrimination, SUNY Poly has implemented an interactive on-line program called Not Anymore which will help you better understand how vitally important these issues are and how we can all work together to maintain a safe environment. Not Anymore is an online interpersonal violence prevention program from Student Success™. This video-based program will provide critical information about the new comprehensive procedures and guidelines which include Affirmative Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking, and much more. Please note that per Article 129-B (NYS “Enough is Enough legislation), all student athletes must complete the Not Anymore training program prior to participating in intercollegiate athletic competition.
Your college years can be some of the best years of your lives and the Wildcat staff hope to provide you with the best possible athletics experience while you are with us. We want our student-athletes and teams to be successful, but realize that it takes a total team effort to do so.
Please join the SUNY Poly athletics staff in devoting your hard work and dedication to make the Wildcat sports program a success - and your time as a Wildcat Student-Athlete both rewarding and fun.
