WILLIAMSPORT, P.A. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team won their thirteenth conference game of the season on the road at Penn College. Poly came out of the gate hot starting the game with a 10-2 run and went into the locker room with a 39-25 advantage. They would continue their success in the third quarter outscoring Penn College 22-12. In the end, SUNY Poly would take the game 71-53.
WILLIAMSPORT, P.A. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won another hard-fought game on the road. Coming off their four-overtime victory Wednesday the Wildcats went down to Penn College and came out with a 91-82 victory. SUNY Poly got off to an early lead in the first half and controlled the game as they went into the half up 56-51. They came out of half hot to keep control of the game and head back home with a crucial NEAC victory. The Wildcats currently have a 10-3 NEAC record and are tied with Morrisville State for the lead in the North Division.
KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team won their North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game over the Keuka College Wolves on Wednesday. The win puts them at 12-0 in conference play. The Wildcats got off to a hot start leading at the end of the first quarter 19-9. Keuka came back to tie the game 27-27 going into the half. In the second half, the Wildcats came out and ran away with the game outscoring the Wolves 46-21 to win by 25. The final score was 73-48.
KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team’s first four-overtime game in program history ended in a win for the Wildcats on Wednesday 115-110 over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Keuka College. The game was tightly played by both teams, with thrilling, last-second ties to end regulation and each of the first three overtimes. The win helps the Wildcats improve their NEAC North Division record to 7-2 which is tied with Morrisville for first place.
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team won their ninth consecutive game and 10th North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Wednesday 78-43 over Morrisville State. The Wildcat defense held the Mustangs to 22% shooting from the floor and 18% from three-point range in the game, holding all but one Morrisville player to single-digit scoring totals. The Wildcats are now 12-7 this season with a 10-0 record in NEAC play.

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball team lost their match Saturday against Keuka College in four sets. The Wildcats took the first set 25-23. Poly went on to drop set two, three, and four with scores of 20-25, 21-25, and 21-25 to lose the match 3-1. The Wildcats struggled on the attack hitting just .089 as a team. Keuka hit .255 as a team in the match. The Wildcats are now 3-6 this season.
ALBANY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball lost their match on Wednesday in five sets to the Sage College Gators. The Wildcats lost the first set 22-25 before taking a 2-1 advantage by winning the second set 26-24 and the third set 25-18. The fourth set was tightly contested with the Gators winning the set 25-23 to force a deciding fifth set. With the match tied at 11, a 4-0 run by the Gators sealed the Wildcats fate giving Sage their first win of the season. The Wildcats are now 3-5 this season.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball team went 1-2 in three matches this past weekend with a win over Lasell and losses to Springfield and Elms. The Wildcats played Elms on Friday, losing in three sets. The team traveled to Springfield on Saturday and lost to the tri-match host Springfield after taking the first set from the Pride. The ‘Cats wrapped up the weekend with a four-set win over Lasell 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22. The Wildcats are now 3-4 this season.

SUNY Poly took control of the game in the first quarter did not give in at all for the remainder of regulation. They would end up winning by a final score of 89-41.

The game was a defensive and physical one and the Wildcats were able to win a hard-fought 65-46 victory. COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team won a key North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game on the road at Cobleskill. The Wildcats got down in the first quarter 19-15. They turned it on defensively holding Cobleskill to 15 points in the second and third quarters combined. That defensive push would be enough to top the Fighting Tigers. The final score was 68-51.

SUNY Poly and Cazenovia played a tightly contested game that saw six ties and four lead changes. The first quarter saw both of the largest leads of the game with Cazenovia going up five points early and SUNY Poly taking a seven-point lead late in the quarter. The rest of the game was a battle as neither team could carve out a distinctive edge. The win brings the Wildcat season record to 6-7 (4-0 NEAC). Cazenovia’s loss has them at 3-10 with a 1-3 NEAC record.

The Wildcats built their lead as high as 22 in the game, shooting 56% from the field. They knocked down a team-high 10 three-pointers in the win. The second and third quarter was tightly played with Abington fighting back to take the lead late in the third. The Wildcats put the game away in the forth with a dominating 15 point advantage in the quarter. The final score was 72-59. The Wildcats are now 5-7 with a 3-0 NEAC record.
ABINGTON, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team improved to 2-1 in NEAC play on Sunday, winning the second of their two-game road trip in thrilling fashion over Penn State Abington. Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) became just the eighth member of the 1,000 point club at SUNY Poly in the game. Jake Kulakowski (Brewerton, N.Y.) hit the game-winning put-back layup with just two seconds left on the clock to complete what was an impressive comeback for SUNY Poly. The final score was 60-59. The Wildcats struggled in the first half, allowing Harrisburgh to take a 13 point lead into the locker room at the half. The second half was played much closer, but SUNY Poly was unable to cut into the lead. The final score was 72-60 in favor of the Nittany Lions. The Wildcats are now 4-6 with a 1-1 NEAC record. Harrisburgh is 6-5 with a 2-0 record in NEAC play.
Pittsford, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team traveled to Pittsford on Sunday to take part in the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa Tournament hosted by St. John Fisher. In the tournament which featured the Wildcats, St. John Fisher, Cortland, and Pitt.-Bradford SUNY Poly was matched up with the host Cardinals. The Wildcats lost in the first round by a score of 82-68 but answered that loss with a 22 point win over Pitt.-Bradford on day two. The Wildcats are now 4-5 this season.
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team headed south for their semi-annual winter break trip. This season, the women headed to Ft. Lauderdale to take part in the Cruzin Classic. In their first game, the Wildcats were matched up with the Hastings College Broncos. The Wildcats struggled right out of the gate, getting outscored 24-6 in the first quarter. And ultimately losing 70-49. In the second game the Wildcats also suffered a loss 73-69 at the hands of Johnson & Wales.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team got off to a good start in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play with a convincing win over Penn State Berks. After getting off to a slow start the Wildcats gained control ending the first quarter up by five. In the second they would start to get some separation going into the break leading 39-25. Berks would come out of the half hot to fight their way back into the game cutting the Wildcat lead to seven. Then the Wildcats would make one final push, controlling the fourth quarter and winning the game by a final score of 69-50.

The Wildcats would score 10 unanswered points to open the game holding Berks scoreless for almost seven minutes. The Wildcats built a lead as high as 31 in the first half going into the break leading 43-15. SUNY Poly would go on to win by a score of 94-63.

The Wildcats got behind in early, but a big run in the second quarter gave them a lead which they held for the entire second half. With the 70-60 win, the Wildcats are now 2-2 this season. Utica is 5-2.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost a close 85-82 game against the Utica College Pioneers. The Wildcats played a strong first half going into the locker room up 42-36. The second half the Wildcat offense struggled as the Pioneer offense took off to build up a lead late to seal the game.

The Wildcats and the Gators played a close game, trading the lead eight times in the 40 minute game. SUNY Poly led by as much as seven points midway through the first half, but Sage would turn the deficit upside down, taking a seven-point lead themselves with three minutes left in the first half. The final score of the game was 65-63. The Wildcats fell to 2-2 this season while the Gators improved to 4-2.
