GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2018 Men’s Soccer All-Conference Team with 33 student-athletes receiving the league’s top honors. The Wildcats were well represented on the All-Conference Teams with one player being named to the first team, one player being named to the second team, and two players being named to the third team.

Gallaudet tied it up in the 49th minute, forcing the Wildcats to go on the attack. The Wildcats would rise to the occasion, scoring the game winning goal in the 64th minute.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team traveled to Union College on Wednesday to play a non-conference game against the Dutchmen. The game ended in a loss for the Wildcats, who were unable to score in the game. The final score was 2-0. The Wildcats are now 3-4-3 this season.

The tie, SUNY Poly’s third of the season, was the Wildcats third consecutive double overtime game this season. The tie brings the Wildcats record to 2-0-3 on the year.

The men’s soccer team earned their first NEAC win of the season over Wells College 4-3 in double overtime. Benjamin Alonge (Elmont, N.Y.) had his mark all over this game, playing a role in all four Wildcat scoring plays. The senior had three goals and assisted on the game winner in the second overtime period.

The Wildcats open play on the road at cross-town rival Utica College on August 31st at 7:00 PM. The team’s first home game will be against NEAC foe Wells on September 15th at 2:00 PM at SUNY Poly’s Wildcat Field.
ABINGTON, PA. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats beat Lancaster Bible in a thrilling 2-1 overtime game on Saturday. The win sends the Wildcats to the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship game where they will take on the host team, Penn State Abington. Abington beat Penn College 3-0 on Saturday to advance to the Championship game. The Wildcats and the Nittany Lions did not meet in the regular season.

The Wildcats found what they were searching for in the form of a 3-1 upset win. The Wildcats struck three times against a Morrisville defence that held them scoreless just six days ago.

READING, PA. - The SUNY Poly men's soccer team (7-7-0, 5-2-0 NEAC) earned a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win over Penn State Berks (6-8-1, 2-4-1 NEAC) on Saturday 2-1. The Wildcat offense put 11 shots on goal in the game, netting the first and last goals of the game. Once the go-ahead goal was scored early in the second half for the Wildcats, the defense needed to hold strong and they did just that.
