MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball earned their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win of the season on Sunday over Wilson College 3-0. The Wildcats Dominated the match, hitting .412 as a team. The set scores of the match were 25-17, 25-14, 25-7. The Wildcats improved their season record to 5-9 with a 1-3 record in NEAC play.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball team hosted Lancaster Bible and Medaille College on Saturday in the Wildcats first tri-match at home of the 2020 season. The Wildcats took on Lancaster Bible in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) match in the 12:00 PM match and took on Medaille in a non-conference match at 4:00. The Wildcats lost both matches, the first 0-3 to the Chargers and the second 2-3 to the Mavericks. The Wildcats record for the season now sits at 4-9.
KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball team lost their match Saturday against Keuka College in four sets. The Wildcats took the first set 25-23. Poly went on to drop set two, three, and four with scores of 20-25, 21-25, and 21-25 to lose the match 3-1. The Wildcats struggled on the attack hitting just .089 as a team. Keuka hit .255 as a team in the match. The Wildcats are now 3-6 this season.
ALBANY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball lost their match on Wednesday in five sets to the Sage College Gators. The Wildcats lost the first set 22-25 before taking a 2-1 advantage by winning the second set 26-24 and the third set 25-18. The fourth set was tightly contested with the Gators winning the set 25-23 to force a deciding fifth set. With the match tied at 11, a 4-0 run by the Gators sealed the Wildcats fate giving Sage their first win of the season. The Wildcats are now 3-5 this season.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The SUNY Poly men’s volleyball team went 1-2 in three matches this past weekend with a win over Lasell and losses to Springfield and Elms. The Wildcats played Elms on Friday, losing in three sets. The team traveled to Springfield on Saturday and lost to the tri-match host Springfield after taking the first set from the Pride. The ‘Cats wrapped up the weekend with a four-set win over Lasell 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22. The Wildcats are now 3-4 this season.
