MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly cross country program hosted its annual Short Course Invitational 6K/4K race on Saturday. 23 teams were in attendance for the race which featured nearly 240 student-athletes competing on the beautiful SUNY Poly Cross Country Course. The Wildcats fared very well on their home course. The men's team took home 4th place with 117 points. The women placed 7th out of 11 teams with 197 points.
GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2016-17 Scholar-Athlete selections. This year marks the third consecutive record-breaking year for the NEAC Scholar-Athlete Awards. A staggering 806 student-athletes in the NEAC were named scholar-athletes, surpassing last year’s mark of 787 by 19.
LANCASTER, Pa. – The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team are champions again! The Wildcats traveled to Lancaster Bible College to compete in the 2016 NEAC Championship Race on Saturday and won for the fourth consecutive season. The team put up an impressive 34 points with their top five finishers coming in 2nd, 5th, 6th, 9th, and 12th place. The second place Penn State Abington team finished 31 points behind the Wildcats.
Lancaster, P.A. – The SUNY Poly men’s and women’s cross country team traveled to Pennsylvania to participate in the 8K/6K Charger Invitational hosted by fellow NEAC school Lancaster Bible College on Saturday. The race featured 149 student-athletes representing eleven schools. Highlighting the teams’ strong finishes were senior Joseph Acey and junior Rebecca LaPorte. The men finished with 65 points and had seven runners finish in the top 20. The women finished in 76 points and had four runners in the top 15.

The Wildcats fared very well on their home course. The men’s team won the race with 46 points and had the top finisher. The women placed 6th out of 16 teams with 141 points and had two runners in the top 25.
JOHNSON, V.T. - The SUNY Poly men’s and women’s cross country team traveled north to compete in the Johnson St. Invitational on Saturday. The teams both placed well in the meet. The men finished third with 91 points in the 8K, just one point behind the second place Maine-Farmington team. The women finished sixth in the 6k with 157 points.
COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team placed third this Saturday at the 2016 Steven A. Warde Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill. The Wildcats scored a total of 69 points in route to their third place finish. They placed four runners in the top 15.
GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats have been voted 1st in the annual North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) Men’s Cross Country Preseason Poll. The Wildcats earned 112 points in the poll ending in a tie with SUNY Cobleskill. SUNY Poly’s seven first place votes were the deciding factor in the poll placing them atop the ranking and in position to defend their NEAC Title from last season.
GENESEE FALLS, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the 2015 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday hosted by SUNY Geneseo. The men’s team placed 28th overall placing four runners in the top 200, and the women did not have enough runners to compete at the team level but had three runners compete individually.
CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team has done it again; for the third time in as many years the men have taken home a NEAC Championship. On Saturday, the team traveled to Cazenovia to try to defend their title and they did just that. They beat second place Cobleskill by just a single point registering 64 total to Cobleskill’s 65. The win was a true team effort as the Wildcats placed two runners in the top ten, two in the top 15, and one in the top 25 to secure the 65 points they needed. On top a beautiful new championship trophy, SUNY Poly Coach Bill Tylutki also earned his third consecutive NEAC Coach of the Year Award. He has won the award four times now.
MARCY, N.Y. - The men’s and women’s cross country teams hosted their second SUNY Poly Invitational of the season on Saturday, this time for the long course. The men competed in an 8K and the women competed in a 5K. The men’s team placed 2nd behind SUNY ESF and the women did not place due to a shortage of runners. Both teams boasted some great individual times, and the men’s course record was broken by a local runner from MVCC.
Marcy, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s and women’s cross country teams hosted 9th Annual SUNY Poly Invitational Short Course meet this past weekend. 13 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams came out to compete on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in upstate New York. The Wildcat men had a good showing finishing fourth overall with a total of 135 points and the women finished 11th with 323 points.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Men’s Cross Country Team won their second race of the season today behind strong performances from the entire scoring five runners. The Wildcats placed four runners in the top-10 overall, and accumulated just 31 team points, besting the second place MVCC Hawks by 10 points.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Men’s Cross Country Team raced to a 17th place finished amidst a stacked field at the Yellowjacket Invite on Saturday, which is hosted by the University of Rochester.
